In this video sent to us courtesy of PrepperDiscount.com, we learn to make a silencer suppressor from a traditional mag flashlight. A suppressor, or silencer, is a piece that can be attached to the barrel of a firearm that reduces the level of noise and evident muzzle flash made when firing. Typically, suppressors are made of a metal cylinder with devices fixed internally that lessen the sound of gunfire by reducing the escaping propellant gas (this also increases the speed of the bullet to a certain degree.)
In most countries, like the United States of America, the use of suppressors is regulated in some way by firearm laws. Here you can use them on the range and in some places, even take them out hunting (as they’ve been proven to make game easier to shoot and decrease the risk of hearing loss associated with shooting.) The makeshift silencer created in this video is surprisingly easy to construct.
